Join Meghan as she leads you through the powerful practices of Yoga Nidra, movement and journaling. Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative and healing meditative practice that allows us to access our feelings, thoughts and emotions while in a state of open receptivity. Studies have shown that Yoga Nidra reduces the negative effects of stress: anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, and low mood.
Journaling will be included as a means to explore our inner landscapes, giving us clarity about what we hope to achieve during our journey of Yoga Nidra.
Often, the best way of accessing our feelings, thoughts and emotions is through our bodies. We will begin the evening with gentle movement, before moving onto journaling. We will complete our time together with a 45-minute Yoga Nidra practice.
Bring your own journal and pen. Please feel free to bring comforting items such as pillows, blankets and eye pillows. All levels welcome, no experience necessary.
